Directions from San Juan 1) Take Route 22 (freeway) to the WEST. 2) Exit at the Ciales-Manati Exit (#48) The road loops around so you are driving SOUTH. 3) About 500 meters after exiting, turn RIGHT onto Route #2 to go WEST. 4) Pass through the Town of Manati. Watch for "Immaculate Conception Catholic School (on your left) and a McDonald's restaurant. 5) After you pass the McDonald's, turn LEFT at the next traffic light. This will be Carretera #6685 (Road 6685). 6) Continue SOUTH on Carretera #6685 for about 4 kilometers. Watch for Carretera #642 (Road 642), which will veer off to the RIGHT. 7) Take Carretera #642 SOUTH, crossing over the bridge. As you start going up a hill, the "Montebello Meat Processing Plant" will be on your right. Around the next curve to the left is "Saint Francis Church." Turn in there; the Friary is around the back of the Church. |
